Storify helps “users tell stories by collecting updates from social networks…to create a new story format that is interactive, dynamic and social.” From what I can tell it’s a little like a blogging site which allows you to insert or link media from a range of online sources and combine it with written commentary to tell the overall ‘story’.

Here’s an example for a topic in Business Studies, and here’s one just for fun and kicks on companies taking advantage of the Royal Birth!

This would be fun to encourage students to contribute to a story you might start see how it evolves. Literacy is developed through students writing their thoughts and condensing them so that the information posted is not too lengthy and rambling (unlike this blog post?!). I’m sure there are even more uses for it too, however I’m due on the field for the House football game soon so I’ll leave you to explore further =D
